Contracting Strategies

Power As A Service – PAAS

For operations with variable or uncertain load, PAAS offers a fixed monthly rate with no variability. Simple to budget, simple to manage. Also referred to as Contract Power Generation.

Energy As A Service – EAAS

Aligned to your work product. Think $/Pump-Hour for eFrac applications. Ideal for temporary mobile or long-term semi-permanent installs where power demand may shift (Zipper Frac vs. Simulfrac). A cleaner accounting method for AFE-driven projects where stage count and well treatment design drive the numbers.

Power Purchase Agreements – PPA

Usage-based pricing at an agreed capacity, structured comparably to utility rates ($/kWh or $/MWh). Installed at your site, priced like the grid, without the grid's limitations.

Power Capacity Agreements – PCA

A fixed capacity structure with maximum flexibility on a long-term basis. Assets under contract can move from temporary mobile applications into semi-permanent installations under one umbrella agreement.
